Hi, I’m Samir.
I write.
Sometimes I write about things I have felt. Sometimes about things I have seen. Sometimes about people, memories, movies, books, nature, childhood, growing up, and sometimes about things that probably make sense only inside my own head.
But I enjoy putting those thoughts into words.
For years, writing was something I kept doing quietly. Poems, stories, drama, movie scripts, random thoughts — most of them lived inside notebooks, laptops and hard drives.
Some were finished. Some were never finished.
And a lot of them were never published.
Maybe I was waiting for the “right time”.
Then I realised there probably isn’t one.
So, this website is my attempt to stop waiting.
samirbhayani.com is a place for my words.
You’ll find poems, essays, stories, observations about everyday life, thoughts inspired by movies and books, and perhaps a few things that don’t fit neatly into any category.
I write in Hindi, Hinglish and English because that’s how my thoughts naturally exist. Some emotions come out better in Hindi. Some thoughts arrive in English. And sometimes, the two simply meet somewhere in the middle.
I am also the author of Alfaaz Dil Ke — Ek Dil, Hazaar Ehsaas, my book of poetry.
But this website isn’t only about my books.
It’s about the journey of writing itself.
About noticing the little things we usually walk past.
About remembering the child we once were.
About conversations we have with ourselves when nobody is around.
About finding a little peace in nature, a good book, a camera, a blank page or a few quiet moments.
I don’t have all the answers.
I’m not here to tell you how to live your life either.
I’m simply writing down what I see, what I feel and what I learn along the way.
If somewhere in these words you find a thought that feels like it belongs to you too, then perhaps we’re already having a conversation.
So, welcome.
Take your time.
Read something.
Maybe stay for a while.
And if a few words stay with you after you’ve closed the page, I’ll consider the writing worthwhile.
